Our local Colorado River Headwaters Chapter of Trout Unlimited is in the process of creating an online Grand County Fishing map. The map will give you lots of details about where you can and cannot fish locally as well as a wealth of other helpful information for anglers. The map is not done yet and we haven’t yet created a key or guide for using it effectively, but we’ll make the link available soon. As of April 17, we’re just a few days away from releasing our fishing map.

In addition to the map, we have other fishing information available. Check our our GO FISH page for an April 10 update on fishing our local rivers. You’ll also find fishing tips, knot tying videos, license info and more. Also under the FISHING tab on this website, you’ll find RIVER FLOW & HATCH INFORMATION, a page dedicated to proper CATCH & RELEASE, another page on NATIVE TROUT and more.

As soon as it’s ready, we’ll have a button to take you to the new fishing map here!

You can also support us by becoming a member and attending our only annual fundraiser, our Banquet in July at Devil's Thumb Ranch. We also invite members to attend our monthly board meetings. They're usually held the second Wednesday of each month in the Winter Park/Fraser area. Check our calendar for details. Start time is 6PM. We're an environmental organization, but beer and fishing stories normally happen at our meetings! Check the calendar for details or contact a board member for more info.
