Willow Creek Enhancement is on track for 2027!
LBD is already hard at work at the next stream restoration project. We are seeking additional funds for the Willow Creek Stream Restoration Project and anticipate starting construction in late summer 2027.
Explore the New Grand County Stream Management Plan Website!
Learning By Doing is excited to unveil the new Grand County Stream Management Plan website, developed in partnership with Virga Labs! The website transforms years of stream data, assessment, and collaborative planning into an engaging, easy-to-use resource for understanding the health of Grand County’s rivers and streams. Visitors can explore an interactive map, view grades for individual stream reaches, learn what is driving those grades, and explore LBD’s goals and restoration work throughout the watershed. The updated SMP is more than a website—it is a tool to help LBD, our partners, and the community identify priorities, track changing stream conditions, and guide future restoration and management decisions. A huge thank you to Virga Labs for helping us turn a complex body of science and data into a resource that is accessible, informative, and fun to explore and the Stakeholder Advisory Committee members for their input on the website.
