Grand County Drought

The science tells us we’re in a long-term climate change induced drought and there’s no end in sight. As of September 14, 2020, almost all of Grand County is experiencing extreme drought, with only a small piece of the county shown as under severe drought. The unprecedented fires all over the west are exacerbated by record high temperatures and extremely low rainfall.
